I have a zip file that I am sending to other users (I've actually tested sending
it to myself) and the file is a ZIP formatted file. However, when I recieve the
file, winzip can no longer open the file saying that 3 bytes are missing. I can
provide the zip file to anyone who wants to verify this for themselves.

Steps to reproduce:

Compose a new message, and enter your own email address as TO: (doesn't matter who)
Attach a ZIP file to the message
Send the file
Recieve the file and save file to disk
Open File with Winzip

Expected results:
File should open and contents should be in tact.

Actual Results:
File can not be opened (winzip complains: Zip is missing 3 bytes of data)

-Chris

PS: Outlook Express does not exhibit this behavior.
Attached file Origional ZIP
This is the origional zip that was sent
This is the corrupted ZIP file
Ditto, a 10 megabyte avi attachment came out as only being 5 megs when I tried
to save it with Mozilla. Microsoft Outlook saved the file fine.

I have same problem with build ID 20033052908. 1.4 RC1. The bug is not limited
to zip or pdf file. I also got MS word file corruption when I send the file
using SMTP server. When recipient opens the file using MS Word, it complains
that the file is too big for word to open. The word application then locks and
has to be killed. I am using XP home edition with user account. (Not admin.) I
can duplicate this bug everytime. The file was sent to diffrent e-mail systems
(yahoo, hotmail and Pacbell DSL/Yahoo) and showed the same error. Contact me if
you need a file sample. Please open this bug.
WFM with Moz 1.7.3 on WinXP. Marking fixed.
Reporter, if you feel this bug has been closed in error, and the problem remains
