I've checked that removing mailviews.dat from the following places in my source tree: C:\moz_src\mozilla\dist\bin\defaults\messenger C:\moz_src\mozilla\dist\bin\defaults\messenger\US C:\moz_src\mozilla\mailnews\extensions\mailviews\resources\content and doing a make build reinstates those files. Verified FIXED with a debug build on Win2k using: make -f client.mk
