Details
The Account Setup UI doesn't work properly when disabling the POP server "leave messages on server" setting. The disabled state is immediately reflected in prefs.js, but the UI doesn't change the checkbox state until a restart. Note: enabling takes effect fine right away, both in UI and prefs.js. 1. Open messenger to pop account (doesn't matter whether migrated or new profile) which has pref enabled to leave messages on server. Check that the pref is set in both UI (Edit|Account Setup|select the POP server and go to "Server" panel) and prefs.js: user_pref("mail.server.server1.leave_on_server", true) 2. Edit|Account Setup. Select the pop server and go to its "Server" panel. Uncheck/disable the pref. Confirm OK to the Account Setup dialog. 3. Check the UI again. Result: the pref is still shown enabled in the UI. 4. Check the prefs.js. Result: the pref has been disabled in the prefs.js file and is now out of synch with the UI. Must exit and relaunch to get UI back in synch with pref.js setting. Expected result: pref change should reflect in UI as well as prefs.js upon confirming OK to changes in UI.
