Playing shockwave files, flash files or Real media seems very slow in Chimera. 
Using the same media in IE seems to work ok.

Try news.com video section for example

Yes, Plugins are quite slow with Chimera. This must be some kind of dupe...

I did a search on "plugin" and didn't notice any speed related bugs, hence the
report

Does changing the NULL event timers help? They are currently set to 120/60 here
in |nsPluginInstanceOwner::StartTimer|:
