Using the same media in IE seems to work ok. Try news.com video section for example Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

Does changing the NULL event timers help? They are currently set to 120/60 here in |nsPluginInstanceOwner::StartTimer|: http://lxr.mozilla.org/mozilla/source/layout/html/base/src/nsObjectFrame.cpp#3839 http://lxr.mozilla.org/mozilla/source/modules/plugin/base/src/nsPluginViewer.cpp#1400
