User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030116 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030116 it seems that Mozilla uses multiple connections to news servers to speed up donwloading, but there seems to be no cap on how many connections are used. being able to limit number of connections used by Mozilla when reading news could be a useful addition Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start reading multiple groups on a newsserver 2. If your news provider limits the number of connections, than you may see "connection limit exceed" message coming back from the news server 3. Actual Results: got "connection limit exceed" message Expected Results: being able to limit number of connections used by Mozilla when reading news
