There is no way one can tell the difference between unclassified mail and mail
which is classified as not junk. There should be an icon to indicate that a
specific piece of mail is classified as "not junk" and probably also a way to
unclassify mail as well. The problem is, if one classifies a whole folder as
not junk by mistake, one can't tell that you've done this nor can one unclassify
the mail and then run the spam filters on them.

Reporter: there is a column for 'junk' which displays an icon for junk messages,
and may be clicked to toggle the status (and if a message is marked as junk, Moz
can be configured to automatically delete the message or move it to the junk
folder). This has been in place since 1.3.
In addition, in 1.4, if you view a junk message, the UI displays a button at the
top of the headers to mark it as Not Junk.

Mike: I'm not the reported, but I believe he's right, although I suspect that
this "bug" is intentional.
Unless I'm mistaken, there are, in fact, not two but three states of a message
concerning its just status: classified as junk, classified as not junk and not
classified at all. I don't really know much about the internals, but I suppose
that there are distinct "not junk" and "not classified" states, because in the
beginning, before any mail gets auto-classified, you need to manually mark some
messages as junk and some as not junk.
And if the above is right, then there is, indeed, no (obvious) way to tell
whether a message is classified as not junk, or not classified at all.
Therefore, I'm reopening. If you want, you can resolve as INVALID or WONTFIX,
but not WORKSFORME (unless you say how to "tell between unclassified mail and
mail classified as not spam", quoting the bug summary).
