I'd like to have my inbox show the full details of each sender, in the messages
pane, rather than just their name. For one thing, just seeing a name doesn't
help me see what company the person works for (if they're sending from a
business domain).

The full details show up if I actually VIEW the message (in the preview pane
with headers expanded, or by opening the message in its own window). But I'd
like to see the addresses in the messages list as well!

I couldn't find a configuration option for this (though one may well exist...).

The address format I'm testing with looks like this:
 "Roth, Kevin P." <KPRoth@somedomain.com>
but I assume it works the same with other formats too.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Sender column shows:

 Roth, Kevin P.

Expected Results:
Sender column should (optionally) show:

 Roth, Kevin P. <KPRoth@somedomain.com>

bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

reproduction information if you have it.
