User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030401 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030401 In Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings, Server Settings, Local Directory, If the local directory is set using windows network path eg. \\Office\e\Mail\pop.ozemail.com.au then no message bodies are displayed in the mail window, although the message subjects are displayed in the top section of the window. If a mapped network drive is used eg. x:\Mail\pop.ozemail.com.au the all works ok Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. In local Directory set a windows network path to your mail 2. Exit Mail and Mozilla (required for the change to take effect) 3. Re-enter mail and click on any message Actual Results: The body of the mail message will not appear Expected Results: The body of the messages should appear I do appreciate that the prompt is "Local Directory" and that the mail is ment to be stored on a local PC. However I, and assume others also, use a small home network and do not want email spread over multiple computers. But want to be able to reead and write mail on any computer. Using a maped drive over comes this problem but creates other problem when using filters. Filters can not be directed to maped drives.
