21185 - Cut/Copy/Paste menu are disabled; keyboard shortcuts work

OS: RH6.0

On the mail compose window, the menu items for Edit| Cut/Copy/Paste
are greyed out. This problem exists both on HTML format and plain text
format window. Since the short cut for Cut/Copy/Paste is not working.
this problem slows down the testing.

Cut/Copy/Paste menu items works fine on the Composer.

on linux, the short cut for cut/copy/paste are now alt-x/alt-c/alt-v. And they are working in message compose.
However, we discoverd some problem in plain text mode or in the recipient or subject field: the data copied contains
some HTML wrapped stuff (seth is filing a bug about it).

As you can use the keyboard, I've changed the severity to normal. Menu are coming soon...

Can you copy/paste with ALT+C and ALT+P as a workaround?
If we can't even do that, then, it's a big problem for
international since that really prevents us from working with
different language data.

alt-c and alt-v work in the html compose window (body and recipient fields).
1-3-2000 linux builds.

menu items greyed out just like html version.

Reports from bug 14206 is that cut/copy/paste do not work in mail.  We'll try 
that and may have to reopen this bug.
