In order to increase market share, mozilla has to have attractive features that
people. I don't believe people will switch for the sake of good standard compliance.

Some of the most used tools on the Internet these days are P2P clients. Whether
or not these tools have their legitimacy or not, they are here to stay for some
years.

If mozilla was to provide an integration in some ways with some these P2P tools,
that would increase the incentive for many average users to download mozilla and
replace their usual browser.

This bug is open to discuss the idea. P2P clients come and go so it may be
difficult to chose which ones to integrate with. Plus the codes are not open.
But this integration may help both mozilla and the P2P client.

This sounds like a good idea in principal, but what kind of solution could we
use to acheive integration. Gnutella is open source, perhaps some integration
with the Limewire client (http://www.limewire.org)? Or possible a toolbar that
integrates with kazaa media desktop and or kazaa lite (http://k-lite.tk)?
releated: bug 137635 (integration with BitTorrent)
The discussion probably belongs in the newsgroups, where someone might actually
see it....
