This bug is exactly the same bug as
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=209496 but applies to Mozilla
instead of Firebird.

It has been fixed for Firebird, but Mozilla 1.5 RPMS released for RHL 9 exhibits
this bug. Following the exact same text as given for the Firebird version of
the bug, since it applies to Mozilla.

BTW, if the Mozilla port for GTK is not completed, I strongly suggest that RPMs
be built for GTK 1.x instead.

----->

This bug is only present when you build a GTK2-enabled Mozilla Firebird - I have
verified that it does not occur in the latest gtk1.2 nightly. In a GTK2 build
however, if you select a bookmark in the bookmark manager, select "Cut" from the
context menu or normal menu, and then try to paste it somewhere else, the
"Paste" menu entry is not enabled. Fortunately, "Undo" works, so you can get
your bookmark back.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Get a GTK2-enabled Mozilla Firebird.
2) Enter Manage Bookmarks and select a bookmark entry.
3) Choose Edit->Cut from the menu.
4) Move to where you want to paste the entry and open the Edit menu.
Actual Results:
The "Paste" option is disabled.

Expected Results:
"Paste" should be enabled and allow me to paste what I have in the clipboard.
The patch for bug 209496 was checked in far too late to make it into 1.5 (which
had long branched by that point). Please test a 1.6a Mozilla build.

Then please, do provide RPMs for RHL 9 with the paste function working.
Recompile using GTK 1.x. The paste function for bookmarks is a serious missing
function. Mozilla 1.5 as distributed for RHL 9 is broken.

Is anybody planning to recompile and repackage the RPMs with RH 9 for version 1.5?
Since this bug has been opened, so much time has passed that 1.6 came out. I
got the RPMs for 1.6 from someone else with the bug fix, so it is not relevant
anymore.

It would be nice tough if mozilla.org would provide official RPMs for RHL,
Fedora, SuSE and other major distributions.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
