Build Identifier: Thunderbird 0.5 or 0.6

When the "local directory" (under "Server Settings") is set to a UNC path (W2K
peer-to-peer network) such as "\\allan\c\...\...\mail", the list of messages in
each folder can be viewed, but the contents of each message cannot. They also
can't be deleted or moved around. Changing the "local directory" setting to a
mapped drive such as "O:\...\...\mail" solves the problem.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
See the "Details" above.

Expected Results:
Either disallowed using an UNC path at all, or allowed all functions to be
performed using an UNC path.
see Bug 243609 and so on, for example bug 133153
