There is no obvious way to edit the "Home" address in the inline vcard editing
UI. Address tab only lists "Work," despite the fact that the internal address
book includes sections for both.

editing the home address is also not possible using the Menu "Tools-Account
Settings"-edit Card. This bug is already in there since many builds, including
released 0.7.

I can Confirm this on Windows XP TB0.8 Milestone

Also, there's no option to select an existing card from the address book, which
would be very useful..

I confirm that in Windows XP SP2 and TB 1.0 that the vCard has NO place for the
Home Address.  
This is from "properties" on my account: "Account Settings - <John Cullen>",
there is a button "Edit Card..." that opens a box "edit vCard for John M.
Cullen" and in that box the tab for address ONLY has 'work' address.  When I
send myself email the vCard is attached and arrives with spaces for both Home
and Work addresses.  
This is reproducible.  Is this related to Bug # 228118 ?

I confirm that there is no possibility to put your personal address book in a
vCard (while it is possible to read it in vCard received by mail !!) and you can
only put your professionnal address.

I confirm this with TB 1.0.6 (Build 20050912) on Ubuntu 5.04 "Hoary". The Bug is
really annoying when you want to use TB for some serious business stuff.

Bug reported in 2004, confirmed a dozen of times, and still present in 2008... without any explication from a developer!
Is it possible to know why this bug cannot be fixed for now, and if it will be fixed one day?

Also present in TB3 beta2. I think that as the home phone number is present, it will make sense that the personnal adress should be available also.
