User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-AT; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040616
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-AT; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040616

When starting calendar with german language enabled
calendar has no menu bar and complains about missing
goDateCmd entity. After closing the calendar window mozilla crashes.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install mozilla 1.7 calendar (daily build calendar_windows_20040622.xpi)
2. Activate german language
3. start calendar "Fenster/Kalender"
new menuOverlay.dtd that solves the problem
*** Bug 249539 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
the wrong menuOverlay.dtd comes from the calendar-de-AT.jar within the daily
build calendar_windows_20040622.xpi .

Workaround:
remove calendar-de-AT.jar from Mozilla\chrome program directory
--> calendar will be available without localization

BTW: in order to reproduce the problem again you need to delete the files
chrome/chrome.rdf and XUL.mfl in the users mozilla profile.

Fix:
Update menuOverlay.dtd within calendar-de-AT.jar in the daily calendar build
In this case, I'll reassign this bug to a calendar component and encourage
calendar people to update their packed German localization to I have included in
my XPI Nightly Pack 2004-07-02-05.

seems to me that this update hasn't been applied yet.
And, of course, I'd have newer translations available.
But calendar people require the strings to be in the same order as in the
original file, and mine are messed up because of what MozillaTranslator does.
I have no time to reorder them correctly, so I can't check in my work to CVS. :(

Perhaps a future version of MT will do it correctly, then I'll check it in...

Kairo: Please point me to the best place I can update the lang pack for calendar
from. I will take care of the reordering.

The best way is using the calendar files out of my newest nightly language pack,
available at http://83.65.88.2/~robert/mozilla/de-AT.xpi

Currently, this is in sync with trunk of 2004-10-20-05
CVS updated based on given xpi. Thanks
kairo: Please feel free to reply to the [calendar translation] emails I send
when the locale changes and point me to a new xpi once you have an update.
Then this bug should be fixed basically...
