User-Agent:       Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040614 Firefox/0.9
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040707 Firefox/0.9.0+

There is currently no way to quickly erase the search other than closing the
toolbar and re-opening it... I suggest a key combination that clears the box.

Also, there is no key combination for toggling the highlight feature on or off,
please add one for this as well.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Confirming.
You should be able to close the find bar with pressing Ctrl-F again.

Any suggestions for Highlight? The normal browser shortcuts all work, e.g.
Ctrl-H toggles the history sidebar. Ctrl-Shift-H maybe?
Severity: enhancement → normal

Ever confirmed: true
Summary: Find Toolbar: Needs more keyboard shortcuts → Find Toolbar: keyboard shortcuts needed for close and hightlight
-> Find Toolbar component.

Marking as a dupe of a later-reported bug, because I believe that bug 250587
comment 7 raises a valid question.
