20060221 trunk 1. Load a page with a form and submit it (http://babelfish.altavista.com). 2. Reload the result page. RESULT: The dialog pops up telling you that it's going to repost the form data. When you press OK nothing happens. EXPECTED: Form is submitted again.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060221 Firefox/1.6a1 ID:2006022121 It reloads the page here.
I've seen strange behavior with form submission, using 1.5 mostly. Submissions would seemingly start (throbbed would start animating) and then just stop, leaving me at the page I'm at and requiring another submit to go through. I haven't been able to reproduce it reliably, though, so if this is a way to do it then that'd be great.
I see where clicking a Submit button does nothing at all quite often, but I assumed that was bug 326827.
Stupid question, perhaps, but have you tried safe mode? I had this exact problem because of the LiveHTTPHeaders extension.
Is this still a problem?
Product: Firefox → Toolkit
Most likely not a problem any more. Best to file a new bug with a reproducible test case if there's still some issue.
