In this morning's build, if I try to open a subfolder by clicking on the twisty it doesn't work. double clicking doesn't work either. So many folders and possibly all folders cannot be accessed.

I fixed this by backing out the changes to threadpane.xul and folderpane.xul. I removed smoketest and blocker status, but this bug should still exist until we figure out what went wrong.
Severity: blocker → normal
Keywords: smoketest
Summary: Clicking on twisty's in folder pane doesn't open folders → Clicking on twisty's in folder pane doesn't open folders.

So you're saying it had nothing to do with the new tree? Something about the XUL changes caused this?

ScottP, so you've worked around? Is that enough for beta2? Or are the changes you backed out required for beta2?
Whiteboard: [NEED INFO]
I looked at the tinderbox log. On 6/13, hyatt checked in a new version of threadpane.xul and folderpane.xul to fix bug http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30511. So, I would guess that if bug 30511 needs to be fixed for beta2, then we may have this bug occur. Not sure. Perhaps we should mark this bug dependent on 30511 (ie. to check once bug 30511 is marked fixed again).

Verified on WinNT 06-21-09-M17 commercial build: Clicking on twisty's in folder pane is working for opening subfolders now.
