1. Right click on an address in message pane. Click ok. Do it again for an another card. Click OK in new card window. It crashes. Note: If I launch the app, it no longer crashes. Looks like only the second time after you install the build. Build and platform: Today's BRANCH builds on windows and linux. is it only the 2nd time after installing the build or the 2nd time after an AB is first used?
It crashes after you download, install the build and try to add couple of new AB cards. Just now it crashed while trying to add a new card (first one) with a similar stack trace. (yesterday it crashed while adding a second card). I also tested another Scenario: Installed a brand new build in a new directory. Launched brower and mail. Quit the app. Relaunch again. Open AB and added 3 new cards. I did not see the crash. Builds tested: Today's Branch build on Windows.

adding topcrash keyword and [@ nsAddrDatabase::NotifyCardEntryChange] for tracking...this is on the talkback topcrash list.
Keywords: topcrash
Summary: Crashes click OK in new AB card window. → Crashes click OK in new AB card window. [@ nsAddrDatabase::NotifyCardEntryChange]

I cannot reproduce this on my local window 10/16 branch pull build on WinNT.

I think this got added to the wrong bug. I think you meant 54530.
Summary: Crashes click OK in new AB card window. [@ nsAddrDatabase::NotifyCardEntryChange] → Crashes click OK in new AB card window.

I review the code in nsAddrDatabase::CreateNewCardAndAddToDB() and I really cannot find any code in that function could possible cause any crash.

sorry Frank. My comments were cryptic. I meant that jpatel's topcrash changes were meant for 54530, not this bug.
If this bug would related to bug 54530, creating a mailing list or delete a created address book (not Personal Address Book or Collected Addresses) should be in the reproduce steps. I don't think the "2nd time after installation" really matters here. It looks like we don't have a consistant way to reporduce this crash. If some one has a way to reporduce it, please describe the detail steps. I'll verify it with my fix for 54530.

This is big problem for me. I can get it to happen with good frequency. I hope it is fixed for RTM. I centertainly would consider this crash, as of the wire.

The fix for 54530 is checked in. Please verify this bug on today's build. I can't reproduce it so far.
