From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.2.14 i586; en-US; 0.6) Gecko/20001205 BuildID: 20001205 if a proxy is set (http or socks), mozilla crashes on opening a https site Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: install mozilla 0.6 (Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.2.14 i586; en-US; 0.6) Gecko/20001205 ), install psm, set a proxy, then open https://www.fortify.net/sslcheck.html --> mozilla crashes (sometimes before showing anything, sometimes the page appears, but shortly after crashes, too) Actual Results: Crash Expected Results: not to crash ... ? no proxies, no crash ...

Reporter, does it look like bug 31174? Would it be possible to get a stack trace? Does it look like crash 54230? Can you send a talkback report? Thanks alot! Fabian.

I can't reproduce this, at least not on win NT4 (build 2000123120). I have the FTP, HTTP and SSL proxy set and I can view the above URL and other https sites.

Marking WORKSFORME due to the lack of response, the fact someone else tested it and it worked and due to the fact 0.6 is very old. If this is still happening in the latest nightlies feel free to reopen it.

verified wfm, proxies including ssl are working on 01/30/01 builds
