Linux kernel 2.4 supports large files (greater than 2GB). Using the large file interfaces in libc requires that _LARGEFILE64_SOURCE be defined at compile time. This seems best done at configure time.

I checked in the patch on the trunk of NSPR. Larry, could you do some testing on Linux 2.2 and Linux 2.4?
