Attachment: Video illustrating the problem. First expanding a thread without the row select. Second expanding a thread with the row selected.

If you expand a threaded message, and the message row is selected, the tree rendering becomes corrupted.

I'm only seeing this happen in the mail view panel. I'm not seeing this happen in the folder list or other trees in Firefox (i.e. Library folder side panel).

AFAIK It happens only with radeon OSS driver.

That's not correct I see it with nouveau.

It definitely happens with nouveau for me.  But it is also definitely driver-related.  I swapped my HDDs into a new system with Intel video and booted up and the problem is gone.

This has nothing to do with drivers, it's due to the tree view not being invalidated after a sort/rethread. The mouseover causes each row to repaint.  I can't reproduce it, is this still happening on release 38?  It matters which view you're in, ie regular folder, saved search single folder, saved search multiple folders, mailview, grouped by sort, etc.
