It would be good to have a confirmation prompt appear when you select "Block Images from this Server" from the right click context menu. It is easy to click this inadvertently because it is next to two other commonly used options, "view image" and "bookmark this link". I did this and assumed images were failing to load due to a bug in Mozilla (see bug 91461). I've been using Mozilla builds since M15 - if it confused me, I reckon it would confuse your average end user.

Not sure if this was stated before, but a confirmation box is displayed when you select "task|Privacy and security|image manager|unblock images from this site", but not when you right click with mouse. Also, as stated in bug 114917, you get a confirmation box that says "images from this site will always be downloaded" but images are NOT always downloaded. See repro steps of 114917 for this special case.

i think adding a message to the application (js) console "blocked <foo>" with a button to unblock <foo> would work
Summary: [RFE] Confirmation Prompt for 'Block Images from this Server' → Confirmation Prompt for 'Block Images from this Server'

I'd like to vote against this. There is no real need for a confirmation, because if images are inadvertently blocked from the context menu, they can be un-blocked with a second visit to the context menu. There is no unrecoverable change made that merits the hassle of a confirmation. If this enhancement is ever implemented, PLEASE have an easy way to turn it off. I think this change would make image blocking just about unusable for me.

I agree with Scott - adding dialogs detracts from the user experience. The setting is reversible, and blocking images inadvertently causes no damage. One could argue for a confirmation dialog for just about any menu command, and it would almost always be a bad idea. Wontfix.
