Aniket, there were a few suggestions for the shortcut in the meantime:

Ctrl+Shift+E (conflicts with the Tab Groups extension)
Ctrl+Alt+E
Ctrl+Shift+Z (conflicts with a redoing a deleted node in the Inspector)

If shortcuts with E may be a problem, maybe one with C (for *C*olor picker) like Ctrl+Alt+C may work or Ctrl+Shift+Y (for e*Y*edropper).

So, I guess it's up to you to pick one.
