Anyhow, if you really like the tags lifestyle, you should stop using Firefox' or Waterfox' internal bookmarks and instead export them to a service like Pinboard (pinboard.in) which is designed around tags. You are not likely to get any sympathy here. Also, I spend a decade watching tag support erode piece by piece every couple of months. It was hardly frozen in place.
