Verified this issue and still reproduce on Firefox Nightly for [GitHub issues](https://github.com/webcompat/web-bugs/issues/128538). Also, I get different results for [test case](https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=8899212), as in Firefox all the links open the corresponding variables, but Chrome and Edge open just the string link, which shows a number (1).

Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64
