I tested this and it seems to be working for me:

Here is what I've done

1) Load HAR Test page: http://softwareishard.com/test/harexporttrigger/
2) Open DevTools Toolbox - the Network panel doesn't have to be selected 
3) Reload the page so, some HTTP requests are collected
4) Click the `getHar` button on the page
5) HAR (JSON) text should be available in a `<textarea>` element below the button
6) Copy paste the JSON to http://softwareishard.com/har/viewer/ and press `Preview` button
7) The JSON is properly parsed and details rendered on the page.

What am I doing wrong?
