We should land this in the next version, once there's been plenty of time for migrations to happen. Considering that consumers that did need migrations were only restricted to nightly and beta, and that stored data isn't critical to migrate in the first place, it will then be safe to remove the migration code and remove all traces of LMDB from startup.
