Running 68.0a1 (2019-05-05) (64-bit) - freshly updated Nightly today. Only my default profile seems to show this behavior. On my default profile when I type "lat" in address bar ER: see autocomplete suggestions including latimes.com AR: no autocomplete suggestions show up. When I make a fresh profile with "firefox -P" then in that new profile, the autocomplete is correct. When I start up an old profile that I have not run in several weeks, the autocomplete is also correct in that profile.
