It turns out that they are the same size so this is an optical illusion... see attachment.

In this attachment I just added a red outline to their divs and you can clearly see that they are the same size (if anything, the warning sign is slightly smaller).

It turns out that they are the same size so this is an optical illusion... see attachment.

I will make it slightly smaller and change the background position as the alert icon is slightly higher up and that could be adding to the illusion.

It's just an illusion... see the zoomed version above with a red outline around the divs ;)
