As a second thought, I think it is related to bug 1512053, and the fix should be the same (backslashing it).
Since the namespace thing must have not just broken out of the ground overnight, I suppose there _was_ actual escaping for folder names in place that disappeared for one reason or another.
Please consider putting it back.
