That's not a valid test case. For Exchange servers, you MUST enter the password, to find a valid config. Microsoft invented it like that.

That's not true. You will get a prompt asking you for the username. If you enter the correct username and password, you will get the right config.

This bug is like saying "I entered the wrong password, and I couldn't see my mail". Yeah, well, of course. That's by design. Likewise, by Microsoft's design, you need a valid login even to configure an Exchange account.
