Chris, makes sense that this patch caused the below regression? There were [2 suspect patches](https://treeherder.mozilla.org/#/jobs?repo=autoland&group_state=expanded&searchStr=OS%2CX%2C10.14%2CShippable%2Copt%2CTalos%2Cperformance%2Ctests%2Ctest-macosx1014-64-shippable%2Fopt-talos-perf-reftest-singletons-e10s%2CT%28ps%29&tochange=540db822a1d4f2e4cbd491bb5afcba9aace67e78&fromchange=17e35065ec03dbe30356c3bd2801beb1657a63f4), while the other one was [backed out](https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/autoland/rev/daf3b53c3efa) without fixing the regression.
