Agreed, it seems like there are two easy fix options here -- either:
 (A) Adjust the UA sniffing logic to check for **version 67 or lower** (and offer the old version in that case). This may be the most minimal adjustment that would help here. Though note that these Firefox versions are no longer supported anyway.[1]
...or:
 (B)  Just use the new format unconditionally.

[1] The oldest supported Firefox version is 68 ESR. (The previous ESR, version 60, stopped receiving updates & being supported in October, per https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-esr-release-cycle )
