**Affected versions**
* 75.0b5, 74.0, 76.0a1 (2020-03-19) ;

**Affected platforms**
*  macOS 10.15, Ubuntu 18.04;

**Steps to reproduce**
1. Launch Firefox, enable DevTools, select the Console tab;
2. Change to multiline view(CTRL+B);
3. Resize the DevTools height, until the input is limited to only 2 lines and preview/result under; push it by a bit more under after so they're not fitting properly
4. Input any expression (ex: 1);
5. Delete the input;

**Expected result**
* nothing bad happens;

**Actual result**
* background for scroll container displayed;

**Regression range**
* will check if a regression and provide one asap;

**Additional notes**
* attached recording with the issue;
* issue is not permanent and due to the area affected marking as minor from the get-go.
