>Third-party Ad-blockers from Mozilla Add-ons doesn't block ads effectively

Note that the most powerful adblockers, [uBlock Origin](https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/ublock-origin/) and [AdGuard](https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/adguard-adblocker/), *can* block ads effectively on the great majority of websites. If you're still getting ads with the adblocker you choose to use, report them to the people who maintain their filters:

* [uBlock Origin - Report ads](https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uAssets/issues)
* [AdGuard - Report ads](https://reports.adguard.com/en/new_issue.html)

uBlock Origin has GUIs to block scripts on a per-site or per-domain basis too:

* [No scripting](https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/wiki/Per-site-switches#no-scripting)
* [Medium mode](https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/wiki/Blocking-mode:-medium-mode)

The original title of this issue also mentioned cookies. Firefox isolates third-party cookies by default, so you don't need to worry about them. If you want to delete certain cookies automatically when you close Firefox, open the [Page Info window](https://support.mozilla.org/kb/firefox-page-info-window) and change `Set cookies` to `Allow for session`.
