The enhancement in bug 232750 would not directly make f=f more visible (as requested here), but it would make the control characters involved in f=f more visible: soft and hard line breaks. Therefore bug 232750 and bug 168420 complete each other: Together in combination, they would give the user a better understanding of what's going on.
