From the video in [comment 60](https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1684662#c60), I can see Firefox playback is definitely not smooth enough comparing with Edge. If this situation is similar with the profiled result you captured in the [comment 57](https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1684662#c57), where media pipeline doesn't drop any frames, then the problem might be in the compositor/render side.

Therefore, when switching to the media engine playback On Firefox, the reporter can find hardware decoding being used and no stuttering can be observed, which means the graphic card and driver seems no problem.
