In bug 740148 comment 101, I noted that I'm going to allow toolbar autohide on macOS, but disable it by default. It can be re-enabled by right clicking on the toolbar in fullscreen mode and checking "Hide Toolbars". We should eventually re-enable this behaviour by default on macOS for platform-parity. To do this, we need to: - Resolve the two unresolved issues in bug 740148 comment 87 (or, at the very least, check with Product and UX that they're not blockers) - Have UX review autohide on macOS (i.e. bug 1016361) - Audit of what caused bug 1168397, to ensure that we're not going to encounter it accidentally in the future.
