snapshots was removed in https://github.com/mozilla-services/cloudops-infra/pull/2153 - is it okay if I create the staging user in https://maven-default.stage.mozaws.net/?prefix=maven2/org/mozilla/ instead?

snapshots was removed in https://github.com/mozilla-services/cloudops-infra/pull/2153 (and the terraform destroy steps weren't applied against the stage environments) - is it okay if I create the staging user in https://maven-default.stage.mozaws.net/?prefix=maven2/org/mozilla/ instead?
