This addon now only works with TB 102.
The addon author [alta88](https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/user/alta88/) stated for his other addons ([here](https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/messagepreview/?src=userprofile) and [here](https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/attachmentcount/?src=userprofile)):
*"NOTE: This extension will no longer be supported in TB versions newer than 102."*

So it seems very likely that the "morelayouts" addon has also reached end-of-life.
Maybe reopening, because the reason for closing is gone ?

Thomas D. makes a good suggestion in [comment #3](https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1731186#c3) with his idea of a
> vertical attachment list on the right side of the message body (underneath the addressing area, covering full body height). That might be simpler to implement and maintain, just add a sidebox and place the attachment pane inside

... with 2 main advantages (summarizing):
> * conserves precious vertical space (as modern monitors are typically more wide than high)
> * much more tidy and easy to browse overview of attachments, especially for many attachments, for long file names, similar file names, or where their order matters (you can order manually or alphabetically).
