> If I use shift-delete while in the unified folders view of Inbox, there is no popup/dialogue (undesired) and the message is deleted instead of being moved to the Trash folder.

I'm not on *nix but Win 10 21H2 and TB 95.0b1. This doesn't repro for me on 95.0b1. WFM.

> When I'm browsing a Trash folder and press delete or shift-delete, I get the (desired) popup dialogue.

This doesn't repro for me. I got no pop-up.

> When I'm browsing the unified folders version of Trash neither delete or shift-delete cause a popup (undesired).

This does repro for me. I got no pop-up as well.

> The Sent folder has similar issues. Currently when in a specific Sent folder, delete sends to Trash, shift-delete gives a popup confirmation. What I believe would be better is to give the popup for both delete and shift-delete (e.g. Trash semantics).

This does partly repro for me. I got a pop-up in either Sent or Sent Mail with Shift-DEL but not regular DEL.

> My ask is, could we please have delete confirmation for unified folders? Could we have delete confirmation for both delete and shift-delete in the Sent folder? I would also like to see confirmation for moving messages out of the Trash or Sent folders.

I'm just a user here but I think traditional OS behavior is to always warn on Shift-Del actions due to it's no-going-back destructive permanence. I know Windows 10 does warn with either type of delete action.
