Steps to reproduce: Try to open a mid: URL in Thunderbird, i.e., executed `open -a /Applications/Thunderbird.app mid:<message-id>`. Actual results: Thunderbird opened but did not display the correct message. Expected results: Now that Thunderbird has support for the mid: URL scheme (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=264270), it would be great if the macOS Thunderbird application can register with the operating system as being able to handle that URL scheme. That would allow a mid: URL to be opened from elsewhere in macOS, and Thunderbird open to display the correct email message.
