Interestingly, for me, the test case from comment 0 does not render a horizontal scrollbar **even when zoomed in**. (example.com does render a horizontal scrollbar, and I can't reproduce the issue. My guess is it's caused by some sort of rounding error, and it's dependent on the screen dimensions.)
