I see this too, since upgrading from Thunderbird 91.9.1 to 91.10.0. My IMAP server is a local one (on my local, private network) that I set up myself. It uses a certificate that I created using a "hand made" certificate authority -- all the commands I used to create the CA and its certificates are `openssl` commands. I used the Certificate Manager to add my CA's cert to Thunderbird's list of "authorities". If need be I can provide more details about my certificate, CA and IMAP server.

Everything was fine in Thunderbird 91.9.1 and prior versions. I generally don't use Thunderbird nightlies, but I can try to use them to find a regression range.

Edit: All my certificates are valid and not expired.

Edit: Everything "works" if I transmit my account and password in the clear (without STARTTLS or TLS). But of course that's not an acceptable workaround.
