You report above you are using release 102.1.0. I don't see a newer release in https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/. Anyhow, it may also help the commenter Teal Dulcet and others to run the updated version too. Thanks to both for the log snippets. I looks like the connection is being dropped probably due to cert problems. I don't think there's a null folder pointer.
