STR:
1) Enable PDF.js editing by setting pdfjs.annotationEditorEnabled to true
2) Draw something somewhere
3) Select what you drew
4) Press CTRL+C
5) Press CTRL+V

When pasting, sometimes the pasted content is empty or has artifacts.
It isn't easily reproducible if you press CTRL+V, then CTRL+Z to cancel the paste, then CTRL+V again in a loop.
