Both Thunderbird 105.0b1 and 105.0b2 have delayed shutdown in Arch Linux compared to earlier versions.  When started from the console, there is a console message when Thunderbird shuts down:

[Parent 3138, Main Thread] WARNING: ContentParent: id=7f94cd9ea400 - BlockShutdown: NotifyImpendingShutdown.: file /builds/worker/checkouts/gecko/dom/ipc/ContentParent.cpp:3626


This looks connected to the similar bug referencing recent Firefox builds at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1783512
