We used have intermittent TSAN crashes that could be this (in the see also bug Armin found), but those stopped. Do we no longer use this in an unsafe way, or did the test timing simply change? Tyson notes the fuzzing team *does* see this crash in the fuzzing manager about once a week (several a day in July/August this year); but haven't been able to get a reproducible testcase.
