If that Unified Inbox does not show the contents of the Local Folders Inbox then do the following to see if the 'Local Folders Inbox is selected to display.

Right click on Unified Inbox and select 'Properties'
Click on 'Choose' button
For each mail account, the 'Inbox' folder needs to be selected
Make sure the 'Local Folders' Inbox folder is selected.
click on 'OK'
Then click on 'Update'.
