At this point though bug 1768495 sounds very suspicious like [:emilio] suggested.

At this point though bug 1768495 sounds very suspicious like [:emilio] suggested. Probably "pausing the compositor" could prevent it from doing the job that eventually triggers the path to reach `ObserveSharedSurfaceRelease`?
